Buying Your Secure-eBook


Q: I don't have a PC, but I own a Macintosh. Will you be selling eBooks for Macintosh computers?
A: In the past, a separate company sold Macintosh PDFs from this site. However, we are no longer associated with this party. We hope to have Macintosh PDFs available again sometime in the future.


Q: I bought an eBook for a Macintosh from you before you discontinued selling Mac eBooks. What do I do about Customer Support for my Mac eBook if I should need it?

A: We appreciate our customers and would never dream of deserting you. We will make sure that you receive technical support, be it from the company that had previously supplied Macintosh eBooks for this site, or from another experienced party.


Q: Since I bought the Rife eBook, can I get a discount on the Rife Hardcover?

A: Regretfully, no. The Rife Hardcover and eBook editions are produced and processed by two entirely separate companies, so there cannot be any price/discount relationship between the two versions.

Q: I have the Frequency Directory eBook. Are you planning to have a printed version of just this chapter?
A: Currently there are no plans to publish the Frequency Directory separately in English. However, Frequency Directory will be published as a separate printed and bound book in Spanish and Polish. The publishers that are translating the entire Rife Handbook  into Spanish and Polish will be releasing the Frequency Directory as a separate book first. Please check back with this website periodically for information about new publications as they become available. We appreciate your support! Q: Can I read my eBook on my eBook reader (Kindle, etc.)?
A: There are many technical requirements that must be implemented in our eBooks to make them readable on Kindle and other eBook readers. We are investigating the feasibility of implementing these requirements to our eBooks so that they can be read on eBook readers in the future.


 


Secure-eBook System Made Easy

with your
Activation Code.
Follow the instructions in the email.
You will be directed to a
download page
where you will find
full instructions.
Make sure to check your spam folder
so you don't miss this important email!


2. DOWNLOAD.
Click on the link in your email.
First you
download the material,
or bring it to your desktop.

3. INSTALL.
The you
install the Secure-eBook software
to your computer.
Double-click the Secure-eBook program to start running it.
(The Secure-eBook program is like a shell that safely houses the pdf file.
Activating the Secure-eBook program will release the pdf file for viewing.)


4. ACTIVATE.
Follow instructions.
Activating unlocks the pdf file so it can be read.

 



Downloading Your Secure-eBook


Q: I can't download my eBook because I don't know where the download page is.
A: There is a download link in your original order confirmation activation email.  Please refer to the email you received when you placed the order.


Q: I downloaded the eBook and it will not open in my PDF reader. What do I do?

A: Our secure-ebook files cannot be opened in Acrobat directly. Please click on the .exe file instead, which will open the Acrobat Reader. (Note, however, that the sample pages can be directly opened by Adobe Reader.)


Q: I downloaded the Sample Pages in Adobe. But the actual complete book will not open in Adobe. Why is that?
A: The Sample Pages are a pdf file that can be opened with no restrictions. However, the actual complete book is a Secure-eBook file that must first be installed—i.e., opened a different way, via downloading and activating.


Q: I downloaded the eBook, but I get an error message, "not a valid win32 application," when trying to open it. How do I fix this?

A: This error message is usually displayed when the eBook has not been downloaded properly or completely. This can occur if you are using a dial-up connection and the connection was terminated before the file was fully downloaded. Please re-download, you need to download the file again.



Q: I downloaded the eBook, but when I open it, I get a "Seek failed on" or "Unable to Activate" error. What do I do?
A: This usually happens when a PC is running on a Windows Vista operating system, and you click "Run" instead of "Save" when the download is initiated. Here, the eBook has been downloaded to a temporary folder. Security settings on Vista prevent files in a temporary directory from contacting our eBook server. Therefore, make sure you download the eBook to your Desktop before running it. This should solve your problem! Please follow our detailed instructions on how to download your eBook.
  If you receive the error message, "Unable to Activate," you may be running anti-spyware software on your computer. Anti-spyware software will block the computer from communicating with the eBook server, which will prevent you from activating your eBook. The solution is to disable your anti-spyware software. Then try again to activate the eBook (after which you can turn your anti-spyware software back on).  


Q: As your website suggested, I temporarily turned off my anti-virus program so I could download the eBook. But after turning the anti-virus program back on, I could no longer read the eBook. How can I fix this?
A: This is a Firewall problem. Fortunately, it happens infrequently, as Firewall programs are not used very much anymore. You must disable your Firewall program in order to read the eBook.


 



Activating Your Secure-eBook


Q: I clicked on the eBook (.exe) file, but it would not start properly. What do I do?
A: Re-install a newer version of Adobe Reader. Use the icon in the question below to download Adobe.


Q: I activated the eBook and got this error message: "The specified activation key is not valid." How can I get a valid key?
A: Have you already purchased the eBook and then received an activation key via email? (It will look something like this: "FBEBN-42475-KGHH-0050-U0K0.")
If you used the correct key and you are getting this message, you have downloaded the wrong version of the eBook (.exe file). Download the eBook again, from the link in the email we sent you, and try again. This should solve the problem.


Q: I bought the Rife Handbook and activated it, but cannot see the Sauna book. What can I do?
A: While viewing The Rife Handbook of Frequency Therapy, click on the eBook menu option at the top left. You will see both eBooks in the list. Then select "2) The Holistic Handbook of Sauna Therapy" and your Sauna Therapy eBook will be opened.



 



Printing Your Secure-eBook


Q: My printer will not print my eBook. How can I get the eBook to print?
A: You need to make sure of three things:

  • Your printer must be set up to print regular Adobe documents

  • You must download the United States or French version of Adobe Reader--otherwise, you will not be able to print

  • You must have the latest edition of Adobe Reader installed on your computer. If you don't have the latest edition of Adobe Reader installed, download it for free by clicking on the icon below:

Upgrading Your 2009 eBook
to the 2011 Edition


Q: I bought the 2009 edition of The Rife Handbook / Frequency Directory  and now want to upgrade to the 2011 edition. How do I do that?
A:
Contact eBook Support to upgrade. A PayPal bill will be sent to you. After the payment clears, you will receive an upgrade link.


Q: I bought the 2011 edition of the Frequency Directory and now want to upgrade to the 2011 edition of the complete Rife Handbook. How do I do that?
A:
Contact eBook Support to upgrade. A PayPal bill will be sent to you. After the payment clears, you will receive an upgrade link.


Q: I bought the 2009 edition of the Frequency Directory and now want to upgrade to the 2009 edition of the complete Rife Handbook. How do I do that?
A:
Since the 2011 edition of The Rife Handbook  contains so many improvements over the 2009 version, the author suggests that you upgrade to the entire 2011 edition with a new, special offer. We will be making an announcement about this shortly. Contact eBook Support to upgrade. A PayPal bill will be sent to you. After the payment clears, you will receive a link to the complete 2011 Rife Handbook.


 



The Hardcover Rife Handbook



Q: Is there a printed and bound Rife Handbook available?
A: Yes. The newest hardcover edition of The Rife Handbook was published in September 2011. The front cover and spine show a gold starburst with "Revised 2011 Edition" inside in purple letters. It can be purchased from Barner Books, Nenah Sylver's official Sales and Shipping Agent. Barner Books will ship the book to any country in the world.



Q: I want to exchange the Rife Hardcover for the Rife eBook. How do I do this?
A: Unfortunately, it is not possible to exchange the Rife Hardcover for the Rife eBook. The Rife Hardcover and eBook editions are produced and processed by two entirely separate companies, so the books are not interchangeable.


 



Foreign Language Translations



Q: English is not my native language. Is it possible to use a computer translator to put sections of the eBook into my own language?

A: Yes, if you have the FULL FEATURE (not Basic) version of the eBook, which allows you to cut and paste. Copy any part of the book you want to translate and paste it into an online translator. Many people like using Google Translate.


Q: English is my second language. Do you plan to release The Rife Handbook  in any other language besides English?
A: The Rife Handbook  is currently being translated into Spanish and Polish. An announcement will be made on this website as soon as a foreign-language version becomes available.


Q: I have the Frequency Directory  eBook. Are you planning to have a printed version of just this chapter?
